Our Story

<a href="https://flyrichmond.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Richmond International Airport</a> (RIC) is a small but efficient airport with direct flights from most major cities. RIC is a short 20 minute drive to our hotel blocks. We recommend booking well in advance given the small size of the airport.

TRAIN

Amtrak is a great option for our Washington, DC and New York City friends. Book a train into Richmond’s <a href="https://www.amtrak.com/stations/rvr" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Staples Mill Station (RVR)</a>; then, take an Uber only 15 minutes to reach your hotel.

Parking is limited at St. Peter's. They have a parking lot, alongside the east side of the Church on Grace Street, first-come-first-served. Limited street parking is also available. There will be valet parking available at CCV Westhampton.

WEDDING DAY TRANSPORTATION

Bus transportation will be provided to the ceremony and reception from our hotel blocks. Please check back soon for more details!

Joes Inn, best diner vibe in the fan. Get the pancakes or French toast for the table! Or as we call it “table cakes!” go across the street after to check out Shields Market Moore Street Cafe, diner vibe in Scott’s Addition North End, smoothies and breakfast burrito in the fan Chewys, grab a bagel in Carytown Nates, grab a bagel in Scott’s Addition or Carytown Can Can, Richmond’s “Le Dip” great spot for a cute brunch in Carytown Early Bird Biscuit, breakfast biscuits and they have Blanchards Coffee Coffee spots Stella’s, grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich on Grove or any of their locations Idle Hands, best fresh pastries in town! Liza’s fav spot for coffee in the Fan Blanchards Coffee, Richmond staple, Broad Street or the fan

Taste, best sandwiches on Grove. Don’t forget taste sauce! Garnetts, adorable sandwich and salad restaurant in the fan Superstars, super casual pizza and sub spot on Patterson Yellow Umbrella, get the chicken or tuna salad and thank us later. Take out spot, incredible selection. Jardin, wine bar in the fan with incredible charcuterie Jack Browns, best burger in town! On Grove Stella’s, the restaurant on Lafayette or the market. Amazing Greek food! Reservations for restaurant open up more day before, put Resy notifications on.

Where to have dinner 

Edo’s Squid, Eduardo’s favorite restaurant. Call for reservations Lafayette Tavern, Immaculate vibes and martinis Uliveto, Italian / Mediterranean in the Fan. Get the lemon pasta! Gersi, owned by the same group as Uliveto. Small Italian spot! Lillian, oyster bar. Great for 2 people, all bar seating. Lolitas, Mexican spot in Carytown. Great drinks! Conejo, great tuna tostadas! Mexican spot on Patterson.
